Chancho en Piedra (Chilean Tomato and Chili Salsa)
Chancho en piedra is a fresh, spicy Chilean salsa made with tomato, garlic, onion, and cilantro, traditionally ground in a stone mortar.
Ingredients
- 2 or 3 tomatoes
- 1 bunch of cilantro
- 2 or 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion
- Salt to taste
- Lemon to taste
- Chili (ají) to taste
Preparation
- Chop the tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, and onion.
- Combine everything and season with salt and lemon to taste.
- Add chili (ají) to taste. So easy, right!
