Cola de Mono (Monkey’s Tail) is a festive Chilean drink that blends milk, coffee, cinnamon, and pisco, a must-have for Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.

  1. Boil the milk with the cinnamon, sugar, and coffee.
  2. Once the sugar dissolves, remove the cinnamon stick and take the mixture off the heat to cool it (without refrigerating).
  3. When the liquid is lukewarm, add the pisco and the nutmeg.
  4. Once it is cold, cover the mixture and place it in the refrigerator.
  5. Serve it chilled, but without ice. Serves 8 people.
