Pisco Sour
The pisco sour is Chile’s national cocktail: refreshing, tart, and perfect served ice-cold.
Ingredients (serves 12)
- 3 cups pisco (between 30–45% alcohol)
- 1 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar (powdered sugar is better)
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients in a shaker with a few pieces of ice.
- Strain into glasses. Keep cold.
Variation: replace half of the lemon juice with lime juice and add a couple of drops of Angostura Bitters per portion.
